Warframe, live the grind.
Elite: Dangerous.
Hades, always seem to have time to squeeze in a run
Is it replayable? I get that you die a lot, but is a second playthrough just as fun?
Madden 24. Definitely not because it’s the perfect game. It’s just the only nfl football game available and it’s so easy to jump in and out and only play for 10-20 minutes or 4 hours.
For me the game I cant stop playing would be factorio
Hunt showdown lol always pisses me off then draws me back in I get lucky a round or two then back to getting shit on
Sekiro
I wouldn't say perfect, but Rune Factory games are what I play in between everything else. No stakes or forgetting where I was....just pick it up and farm or explore for a few days at a time. Helps to come down from big adventures, basically.
Garry Mod can count ?
stardew valley. I've beaten it multiple times but still end up coming back and starting a new farm.
Half Life 2
God Hand
DayZ. I hate it and I love it.
Pokemon, gen 3. From FR/LG to R/S/E to every quality romhack I can get my hands on. I love it. I have played thousands of hours over the past 10 years and have no desire to stop.
Oh, and skrim
Still get on every week to play destiny 2, i know its kinda awful at the moment i get that but its just still so compelling to me to hop on and try new weapons and builds everytime.
Bloodborne and Sekiro also still feels amazing to play to this day.
All I ever play is goddamn elden ring bro 😭
As someone who has tried to get into it, what advice would you give. I end up getting overwhelmed not knowing where to go, what sort of build to make etc. and this is coming from a big Souls fan
All of the replies to this comment being downvoted is super fucking weird lol
I find myself constantly going back to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, even if the gameplay formula has gotten a bit stale.
Also, who the fuck is going through and downvoting all of these posts? This is all subjective.

GTA 4, the physics and gameplay is awesome. Getting into police chases while listening to the radio or fighting with pedestrians
GTA4 is the best. It will always, imo, have the best cast of characters Rockstar ever created.
Baldur's Gate 3 currently.
Perviously: Pokemon Plat. Pokemon HGSS, Pokemon Emerald. Pokemon BW. (A lot of the older pokemon games.)
Honestly same, especially Plat.
Sekiro and Monster Hunter world. Satisfying combat go brrrt
Try Nioh.
Fuga Melodies of Steel
I bought this game in March 2022 and have played through it 16 times since. 6 of those playthroughs where back to back with only a few days between finishing a playthrough and begining a new one.
One playthrough is about 20 houers long. I also love its direct sequel "Fuga Melodies of Steel 2". I bought it in May 2023 abd have played through 6 times so fare. I play other games fore now but it wont take too long before I go fore another playthrough of one of those 2 games.
Few games will make you fear for your life upon encountering the most mundane of inanimate objects the way Prey does it
Not perfect, but once u sucked in u can't stop and that's Path of Exile!
For me this was Mass Effect 3, specifically the multiplayer. Amazing variety of characters, weapons, maps and enemy factions and an incredible community. Played that game on and off for near 10 years, only reason I've stopped is that the majority of players have moved on and the game just isn't the same without the community of players I used to play
I managed to get myself away from Rimworld, but I still play Rocket League nearly every day. It's so beautifully simple.
SSX 3 is the reason why my PS2 is still hooked up
Hades. I have well over 1000 escapes across PS4 and PS5 and can now escape on the very first run depending on boons, but not in Hell mode.
I love it so much I'm considering buying a PC or SteamDeck to try and beta test Hades 2.
Ocarina of Time, still enjoy my annual playthrough :)
Heroes of the Storm. Perfect? Hell nah. But I can't stop playing it. And I've tried... multiple times.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Monster Hunter World and Bloodborne
Bloodborne
At any time there is usually 1 multiplayer shooter that I pick up and play for years. Right now that is Black Ops: Cold War.
