Red dead redemption 2 ❤️
PMEX Remix, its a mod for a mod for a game that is pretty good, perfection
Max Payne 1 is the best 3rd person shooter
Red dead redemption 2 🤠 chefs kiss
DOOM Eternal, always come back to do the campaign again on a harder difficulty also to do the second DLC cause the story was incredible
Elden Ring and Sekiro for the "perfect" aspect, State of Decay 2, Forza Horizon 3, and AC: Odyssey because of joy.
Dragons Dogma
No Mans Sky is crazy idk how you do that. It’s so monotonous. I would say Fallout 4, Skyrim, and Far Cry 5
Xcom 2. I've always had an itch for the nice, emergent narrative thing, and developing random characters into people you care about, and man that game hits it perfectly.
Between that and the vast modding, I always find my way back.
Minecraft / CS
Monster Hunter franchise and World of Warcraft. I take breaks from both by playing the other 😂
I could always go for a playthrough of legend of dragoon
It's not the perfect game.....but....fucking Rocket League....I've been playing that piece of shit since 2016....and I fucking hate it.
The only game I consistently return to is League. But like anyone who has played League will tell you, it ain't perfect. Or even good now.
Starsector might be the hero I need though, I have been playing that frequently and I don't feel like it's due to Stockholm's Sydrome.
My ps3 is still plugged in so I can play project diva.
Counter-Strike. There's no reason for any other shooter to exist. Perhaps there's no reason for any other game to exist, it's perfection.
I play lots of other games, because I'm weak. But CS is pure.
I’ve beaten Elden Ring 8 times, platinumed the game by run 3, and I still just can’t stop. Every run I try a new build and explore new places I’ve somehow never seen before. I’m so excited about the upcoming DLC I don’t even know how to contain it. Elden Ring is seriously the best game I’ve ever played in my life, it elicits a sense of discovery and wonder I’ve never gotten out of anything else.
Halo. No matter how many games i play i eventually get the craving to beat the campaign again, again. Which leads playing forge.
Sekiro
X-COM 2 and EDF 5.
Wouldn’t say it’s perfect but I have world of Warcraft withdrawals roughly every 3-4 years and binge. Play for a month prior to quitting again lol
Dnd and other TTRPGS. They are just better.
Vermintide 2.
Modded Beat Saber
Ace combat 7 for video games, battletech for tabletop games
Advanced Wars, Fallout: New Vegas, and the Long Dark
Raft
Battletech with the Commanders Edition mod. It is exactly the game I wanted to make when I got into s/w development.
Gotta be Witcher 3 for me
I go back to Far Cry 6 a lot because I just like how free it is, but it is a skin deep game.
Fallout 4 is great because there’s so much creativity in crafting.
As big of a hold Pokemon has on my life, I've gotta say Terraria! At least once a year, maybe every two, I find myself going back, starting a world and seeing it through. It has the right mix of weird bosses, challenges and a visual show of progression that itches my brain right.
Tetris.
It’ll be a game I play forever.
Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West
Lies of P
I’ve been playing PUBG since early access and haven’t really slowed down.
