Rocket League is the perfect pvp game. There are zero external influences to add to anyone’s skill. Skill is the only variable.
It is literally perfectly balanced. Everyone has the same toolset to play.
Warframe. 6 years strong and there’s STILL new shit I have yet to discover. There’s so much content in here and it’s all FREE. The amount of bang for your buck is unmatched.
Ocarina of Time gets replayed almost annually
Rise of The Tomb Raider for me. Combination of graphics and storyline never get old.
Killing floor 2 is what I go to when I don’t know what to play. You’d think it would get old but it’s so satisfying and it’s also a great aim trainer. I wish more people played it
Minecraft. Started playing it around 2011 and always comeback to it at least once a year, having played single player survival, mods, server with friends, creative world/house building, online pvp and minigames, you name it. It’s by far the most diverse game ever
I really enjoy MMX. MMX2 and X3 is little harder with all the chip parts, or ride armor. And I like a good shoot em up like Raiden or Gradius
Animal crossing
Ghost Of Tsushima
Zachtronics Solitare Collection
Right now it's RE4R. I loved going through it a couple of times, but I found myself saying "I wonder if I could do the minimalist challenge, or get a higher rank". Game is so addictive!
I've been playing Train Valley 2 for years and years. It's fairly simple, but the community is so involved with the workshop that more content keeps coming. They've released like 4 map packs and 2 legit expansion campaigns. And twice a week they do a community thing where you have 24 hours and they keep a completion time leader board on Discord.
Well.... perfect is subjective.
But iv been playing Dota since 2003.
Path of Exile
Cities skylines 1 is my jam, periodically play it every few weeks. Put a chilled out music play list on, few beers and just work on a city, some park designs, and generally relax. Amazing
Streets of Rage 4
Project Zomboid
I keep coming back to valheim. It's not perfect but I have fun every time I play.
The long dark
Gran Turismo 2 on the PS1
World of Warcraft
18 years baby!!
No Man's Sky is amazing, for me it's Gran Turismo 7, it's everything I have hoped for in a racing game, it's perfect.
I don't know if it's perfect, but I keep gping back to the HBS Battletech game. With certain mods, it's fairly close to TT. Mostly I just like messing around with different builds and using them in combat, I make a lot of use of the save editor, and treat it like a sandbox.
Mass efefct trilogy, it's just so good and always love to spend time with my alien buddies.
Factorio
Factorio.
3 games that I get "the itch" if I go too long without playing: Terraria, Valheim, Kenshi.
Catherine. It’s one of the few game series that truly has everything I love in video games: it’s a moral rpg puzzle platformer with a side of choose your own adventure. Before Catherine, Fable 3 was the closest I’d ever gotten to a game like this.
Starcraft 2 (I don't play PvP)
Super Smash Bros. Melee
currently Baldur’s Gate 3 for me, late on the bandwagon cause i had a couple games i needed to finish before getting into BG3, but I started it a few days ago and i just can’t put it down and i’m not even to Baldurs Gate (the city) yet, the game’s insane
TotK did the same thing to me earlier this year
Destiny 2, shooter wise nothing feels as good (except for maybe Titanfall 2). And I really like the setting, it strikes a good balance of sci-fi and space magic
I've played the two Portal games and Arkham City more times than I can count and have probably bought Arkham City for probably every console that it's on that I own. When I start a new game and first suit up at the beginning and look over Arkham...I know I'm in for a good time.
Vampire Survivors. It is hypnotic.
Terraria
