lol my whole replay is ruined because i listen to the sleep time beats playlist at night. thanks apple.
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
I was a top 100 listener for 3 artists lol
Where did you get that info? I didn’t get anything like that
There should really be some filtering here. I know I’ve listened to Baby Shark and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star 126 times, Apple.
Uhhh I feel like this is missing a bunch of plays. My top song has 13 plays, that’s far too few.
seemed about right for me with all the data. it tracked all iphone and apple music app on windows plays
this is kinda sad. feels like a cheap version of wrapped.
Getting better tho. Shows more info than it did last year. Hopefully they keep making it better
yeah looks like they just threw a bunch of album covers together with a background or a conversation with siri
Hasn’t it been out since…..earlier this year?
Yes I did mine in September. Looks like the experience has been marginally upgraded. I honestly don’t get the fomo surrounding this end of year stuff with Spotify.
Man they gotta fix deep linking in iOS one day, even in Apple's own mail app from Apple's own email it just opens a shitty browser view for this instead of straight to the music app
Mine was exactly how I figured it would be. The National #1, Taylor Swift #2, Blur #3
"Chasing that Spotify Wrapped, they don’t love you like that. You can’t get no Spotify Wrapped. They don’t love you like that … You thought you was Spotify Wrapped." - Draymond Green
Can’t wait for it to be all Frozen and Encanto again like last year.
How do you play your top played songs?
I am tapping on them, and it’s just zooming in on the webpage page.
What sort of imbecile designed this? It’s called Replay, and you can’t Replay the music?
They should rename it to Apple Music Can’t Replay.
I’ve taken a screenshot, and then copied and pasted the text out of Photos and then pasted that into the search bar in music, so I can listen to my songs.
Have I missed something here? Am I stupid or is it really that bad?
.
Website: At the bottom App: for you -> at the bottom -> one swipe
Scroll down to the bottom of the page
lmao i opened the app once just to see what was there and they offered me a 2 months free trial (after i had a 3 month trial a few years ago).
apparently the like 20 songs ive listened to don't make me eligible for replay
Wonderful. Now i get to see what my kids listened to on the HomePods all year.
Can someone explain why we need to go to this website to view it? I’ve never seen my replay on the front page of Apple Music app… I feel like it should be front and center once a year under listen now like how Spotify does it.
Probably the same reason we don't have a Mac widget for apple music yet, no handoff between devices, etc.
Apple Music is really behind-the-times for what one would hope to be standard features (though they keep giving us new features like spacial audio and 'sing mode' lol)
I'm glad Apple focuses on meaningful features like lossless, Sing mode, lyrics, playlists, UI, etc. instead of bullshit like Audiobooks, Podcast deals, and tiktok-style videos like Spotify does.
If that means a little slower development for nice-to-have but not necessary features like Handoff, I'm okay with that.
- Ghost 2. Sleep Token 3. The Amity Affliction My top 3 for this last year
lol, my replay 23 is the same as last year. I almost always put on my yearly replay because it has the best songs and this year it was just a repeat of last.
I listen to new stuff, but when I’m driving I like to listen something familiar
Cool, that mine is Immortal Technique + underground metal
I’m not even gonna read the comments cos I know it’s just people complaining about it “not beiNG SpoTiFy WrAPpEd”.
Frank Sinatra baby. The chairman of the board, yesterday, tomorrow and forever.
It's really weird how this isn't a native feature/playlist in Apple Music, but through their website instead. Like is it really that hard to just implement Apple Music Replay within the app?
Another year of Apple Music Replay another year feeling like it isn't correct.
There must be some weirdly strict rules about what constitutes a 'play' and what doesn't, or a problem syncing plays between devices on icloud - I don't know.
Every year I get my Replay back and there are visually obvious things to me that are wrong. An example would be an album I am certain I have listened to several times only showing 50 minutes total playtime this year. Weird.
Maybe I'm the only one who has this problem but I have never had the feeling that this data was as accurate as spotify wrapped and I am disappointed every single year.
Mine is always wrong. There’s a song I’ve listened to like 3 times but it’s high on my list. I don’t know how they count this.
Yeah.. I don’t think I’ve listened to an album 223 plays.. unless it’s specifically any song from the album? But even then the total song plays down the bottom don’t add up to 223
another year feeling like it isn't correct
It's totally, comically wrong. My "top" song is by Men Without Hats, with 36 plays, and I can't stand that group.
How is it that I have 23.5k hours of music listened and it also says my top played song was played 18 times..
23k hours is like almost 3 years
jfc my musical taste was a mess this year
I’m supposedly one of Richard Thompson’s Top 100 listeners. Feels like I should get a postcard or a sticker or something.
That’s because Apple Music seriously sucks
The data for mine is completely fucked it’s not accurate at all. It’s showing most things off by hundreds of listens either higher or lower than it should. My fourth top album is a live DJ set I listened to once but shows I play through it 92 times. Not a single one of the songs is in my top 100 for it. Also my top album is another DJ set which I may have listened to most but it says I play through the 2 hour set ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED TIMES?? This is so disappointing
YouTube music superiority
at this point anything is superior to apples crappy software
It’s been in Apple Music for a week or two already.
My nr1 being 1000 minutes of Masayoshi Soken (FF14). I am quite surprised I listened that much
My most played artist and album was Metallica, yet it says my most played song from them was 73rd on my top songs list.
I listened to Tiny Changes, the Frightened Rabbit tribute album 105 times this year. What a horrible way to learn I’m depressed.
