Sounds like the permanent teeth are growing in

I used to work for a google authorized repair partner. Pixels are the biggest pieces of trash I have ever had the displeasure of working on. The cheapest, flimsiest, garbage components used, baffling design flaws on every single model, absolute laughable garbage. So bad it’s almost like an inside joke, like Google tried their absolute hardest to make the cheapest, shittiest phones possible with the most hilarious points of failure generation after generation. Whenever people ask for my recommendation when it comes to getting a new phone, my answer is “it all comes down to preference, but never, ever buy a Google Pixel”

Odd. My experience is been nothing but positive so far. Went from a blackberry key2 to a pixel 6, then pixel 7. My only complaint is I hate typing on a touch screen.

I had this issue with my pixel 5

Nothing to worry about? There should be no constant pressure pushing into the screen inside or out. Google needs to be made to come up with a solution for their flaw in engineering. I don't own one but that response from them makes me laugh.

This is why I Apple.

This wreaks of “you’re holding it wrong” and I suspect it will have a similar reception.

Same vibes as Bethesda gaslighting gamers into thinking Starfield isn't boring

Isn't the screen hard glass or are they using the flexible type?

[–] rolfraikou@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

They finally make one that isn't too big for me, and they do this to it?!?!?

Google showing time and time again that they have no idea how to make good hardware.

The new Google Pixel 8 Accessibility feature - braille screens.

It’s a feature! Not a bug

Girls don’t want guys with androids because of poorly explained bumps.

[–] 4peters@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It’s a feature textured screens!!! lol google probably.

Edit autocorrect…

[–] tfs5454@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That's an embarrassing failure. I wouldn't even trust anything else they put out to last if a mistake that major can make it through.

Shit, give me a phone as thick as a 3ds and i won't complain, the bigger the parts are the cheaper they are, and the more battery you can fit into it.

How are Android fans supposed to joke to iPhone users now? Can’t say, “you’re holding it wrong” anymore.

[–] Lharts@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

There is no reason whatsoever to buy a google phone or this phone in particular.

[–] iwanttodie95@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I would rather have a thicker phone if it meant the screen was flat. WTF is this don’t worry attitude?
