My answers are kinda lame: Billy Hatcher on GameCube and Chibi-Robo Park Patrol on DS. But what are your answers?

Marvel vs capcom 1(ps1) & 2(ps2)

[–] crane476@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I used to own Klonoa 2. As a kid I traded it in at GameStop. One of the few times I got a decent amount of money in a trade in. They actually gave me $13 for it, which is a lot for GameStop. Kinda regret trading it in, but now that the remaster is a thing it's not that big of a deal.

I also own a little known game called RAD: Robot Alchemic Drive.

I have one of those terrible Legend of Zelda CD-I games somewhere. The one with the orange cover. Should dig it out sometime, I guess.

Godzilla - Save The Earth for Xbox w/ manual.

Bought it from my neighbour at a garage sale when I was like 10 and then never really played it. Only found out how rare it was a few months ago. Also have other less rare but still uncommon games like Spy vs Spy and Arctic Thunder.

Also had the disk only for Mario Party 6 on the GameCube… not as rare but still sold for a decent amount.

M.U.L.E. for Commodore 64.

Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker Sega Genesis

[–] mudohama@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Pretty much all of the psx rpgs. Maniac Mansion and some niche/bootleg nes titles. The Earthbound guide (but sadly not the cartridge - stolen by an ex-stepparent!). The gcn Zelda promo disc. Several psx games in the early huge cases

Mega Man on the Game Gear

[–] geckobrother@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The game itself isn't rare, but I have an original copy of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver that is signed by all the voice actors.

[–] bremm293@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Valkyrie Profile (ps1)

Xenosaga III (ps2)

Street Fighter Collection (Saturn)

SoulStar (Sega Cd)

Super Metroid and LTTP CIB (SNES)

Harvest Moon 64 CIB (n64)

Shining Force III (Saturn)

Half Life CIB (PC)

Some of these admittedly aren’t that rare but considering they’re complete in box, they’re pretty valuable.

Legend of Dragoon for the PS1. It still works! Still waiting for a remake/remaster....

[–] TheThickCock@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I have few games, but not quite sure of the rarity of them.

Manhunt 2 - PS2 Splatterhouse - Xbox 360 Way of the Samurai 3 - Xbox 360 Silent Hill 2&3 - PS2 Battle for Middle Earth II - Xbox 360

I really need to catalog everything I own. Those are just the ones off the top of my head I can think of.

I own a lot of Holy Grail to me games, but they're not super rare or anything.

N64 Ocarina of Time, 007 Goldeneye, and Super Smash. All sealed.

[–] haoken@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix for GameCube with two original dance pads. My parents got it for me for Christmas and it became extremely hard to find after that. The disc is pretty attainable these days but the pads are scarce.

[–] Zylnor@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Probably just fire emblem for GameCube and wii, also the dragon quest 3ds titles.

[–] MishatheDrill@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I own a copy of Godhand, which is apparently rather hard to get a copy of?

And a ton of older ps1 games. I keep them because they remind me of childhood. I never thought of them as rare really, just the games I wound up with.

[–] couches12@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I used to own a bunch, when my son was born i sold off the pride of my mtg collection, when my daughter was born I did the same with my game collection. Still have a ton of old games and cards but all of my big ones are now somewhere else. It's all good tho no debt is better than games and cards I did nothing but look at anyways.

Conkers bad fur day on n64, earthbound and chrono trigger on snes

[–] kylelock8788@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Super Mario World CIB

Took me 3 months to hunt down a decent copy.

[–] CharityGamerAU@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I have a quite a few removed Steam games where projections are of less than 1k copies being activated before the game was removed from Steam. I don't know if Steam is still this way but back in the day you had Devs who'd publish crap and give millions of codes away for nothing. The lesser owned games are on a similar line but hasn't been abused before they were removed.

Haunting Ground PS2 Def Jam Fight for NY PS2 Eternal Darkness Gamecube

[–] Jupman@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I still have a copy of star ocean the second story with the manual

Shepherd's Crossing 2 for Nintendo DS. Had it quoted for $240 last I checked

[–] KalopsiaComa@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

3D Dot Heroes and Lollipop Chainsaw maybe? Not sure if they're actually rare or just go for a bit online due to being stuck on PS3 at the moment.

I wish I still had my copy of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly...sold it for $60 about 10 years ago when I was strapped for $$ :(

The Neverhood for PC. Still have the box and everything.

[–] Flendarp@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I have a collection of 5.25" floppy disks of old Atari games that were ported to the Apple II. Some of the games include Jungle Hunt, Breakout, and of course Pong.

Of course our floppy drive gave out years ago so the games are just sitting there collecting dust now.

[–] Ghost_Turtle@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Gold Cart Ocarina of Time. Still own the original I got for my bday in 1998 which happened to release on the same day of said bday.

[–] Wolf7Children@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Probably Paprium on Sega Genesis (~$900) and Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition CIB (~$400). Definitely a lot of other heavy hitters (200+) but those are ones that stand out as particularly meaningful.

[–] CGPsaint@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Perfect Dark for N64 still factory sealed.
