I got a new phone (15) on Friday, before setting up the new phone I purchased more iCloud storage and made sure everything was backed up . I went looking for a picture today and saw that none of my photos from August and October transferred over and in July they cut off on the 21s . Is there anything I can do ? All of my baby’s newborn photos are gone and I am devastated.

I could have sworn that everything was synced before I left the store . Unfortunately they wouldn’t have been anywhere else, it is strange because the same photos are missing from my google photo account .

Use a browser and sign into iCloud.com. Do you see your photos there?

Are the photos available on iCloud but not synced to your phone?

Do you have a backup of your old phone other than iCloud?

When I log onto my iCloud I don’t see them , I had them on google photos as well but they are not showing there either

And no computer backups either. There are tools to unpack the backups and extract photos, files, etc. Ho boy.

If you still have your old iPhone, go into settings > click on your name at the top > iCloud > Photos and check if all of your photos are synced or if syncing is paused. If syncing is paused, your photos have not all synced to iCloud so you should just be able to click “resume syncing” and wait for the photos to finish syncing.
