Recently I bought an Sonos Arc, Sub and 2x Era 100. Happy overall, but seem to be getting stereo output on specific apps. Passthrough and all settings are correct, but it seems to me that serveral apps on the Apple Tv 4k do not support dolby output.
Plex, Prime, Netflix work fine with different Dolby outputs.
But YouTube and Spotify do output default videos/sound as stereo pcm, while ALL native LG apps play in non stereo.
My setup:
LG OLED C9 eArc enabled, passthrough enabled
Apple TV 4k 2022 on HDMI 2.1 cable
Sonos connected to the eArc port of the LG tv.
I’ve tried loads of reddit/Google tips and tricks, but I feel like it’s an Apple tv thing.
Does anyone get non stereo output with Spotify with this setup?
