There’s doorbells by Logitech, Belkin (wemo) and Aqara that will do this. All three have pros/cons.

I have one installed for a year now with no problems. I was using a Nest Hello with HomeBridge that worked great but the Nest died. I did get four years out of the Nest though I would have purchased another but Google dropped the version I was using and the newer models are not the same.

There are not many doorbells that work HomeKit natively.

If you are willing to go with HomeBrige, Home Assistant or a Starling Hub you have more options.

The Logitech doorbell used to have a lot of problems with overheating in warm weather and losing connection. They fixed it with a firmware update last year I think. Mine has been rock solid.

I've had good luck with the Logitech doorbell - no problems, as some have had, with overheating. Besides the PIP alert on Apple TV, it will alert your iPhone with a video, or your Apple Watch with a still image. The only issue I've had is the still image on my watch is often taken before the person is actually in view of the camera.

Might be able to get you a free doorbell with Vivint. Catch is you gotta sign up for the whole system though and maybe get at least one outdoor camera. Best cams (from what I’ve seen) you can get on the market. A bit pricy though ngl. I just install for them but if you want to message me I can have a rep reach out to you to give you a quote and answer any questions like this.

Don't do vivint. They are so scammy. You have to have their subscription serrvice. Total rip off.

did apple take down their list third party products that work well with homekit?

You can get a Nest door bell 2 and a stirling hub, integrates with iOS.

Can someone chime in and compare the speed and integration compared to HomeKit/HKSV native solutions?

I just got the Amara doorbell and it works well. Amazon might still have a Black Friday sale on this.

Aqara G4 for sure. Great quality, does not overheat even in QLD summer. Runs off batteries or main. HKSV compatible. Shows up on Apple TV or on your watch.

I like the quality, and it mostly works well. Records to hksv, shows up in ATV, detects people and such.

My criticisms: it should be portrait instead of landscape, so I can see packages on the ground, plus my entryway is narrow.

I wish it would ring the original house doorbell when hardwired. Nest could do it. I have it ring the HomePods/Ecobee but not as loud or pleasant as physical chimes.

It requires a small plugged in hub. I was able to hide this easily but be aware. The hub is also your bell if you don’t have HomePods or similar.

I wish it were a little smaller, but not a huge deal.

Twice I’ve had it stop charging from the hardwire for no known reason, discover it when the built in battery backup ran out. Power cycling the circuit at the circuit breaker resolved it, but it was a small annoyance. Hasn’t happened lately.

I use Netatmo

I use a unifi doorbell with the homebridge app. Works perfectly.

Arlo works great
