I am looking on Amazon to replaced my damaged lightning and I am seeing a lot of usb C connections for iPhone 13 pro? I am not aware of them having that as mine is a lightning.

My model matches the description as well, just curious if I could get this and swap my port to USB C or if there are two versions

if you buy parts, DONT buy cheap. never. go to ifixit and get your parts there. they are expensive but wort every penny. i made that mistake when i bought 3 screens for my x from 3 different brands. they were about 60€ each and sucked ass.

I'd say you can usually cheap out a bit on minor components and get away with it.

Screens are one of few components you probably shouldn't cheap out on though, since you immediately and constantly notice the difference between a low and high quality ones.

No, repaireguideguru made a video about it on the 14 Pro

Yes, you can alter the iPhone 13’s charging port to be USB-C, but it’ll be a LOT of work, extra drilling to increase the charging port size, and altering internals for… the ability to charge with USB-C? Not worth the risk for basically no benefit, you won’t get to use USB-C peripherals.

I’ve seen videos where it’s technically possible but definitely not just a drop in replacement… usually takes an absurd amount of time and effort to get it to work so I’d steer clear
