Sorry if this is affecting you personally. When we bought our house two years ago, my wife convinced me to get a five your fix for stability, when I wanted to go for a two year for the flexibility around renovations. The house is only half finished and we’ve got no more access to funds for the reno but very glad we made that choice.

Only worry is that we’ll still be in a similar shitshow in 3 more years…

I fixed for 5 years in 2020 expecting Brexit to cause chaos. Unfortunately the chaos waited 3 years to kick in.
