With a case, yeah can’t see why not. Probably best to replace the back though.

[–] Lollooo_@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Slap a case on that bad boy and you’re good to go

[–] diorisdash@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

fix it my xr is like that and if your phone comes in any contact of water it will damage by going thru that back glass

[–] DrGashingtons@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yes it’s fine. Every single 12-16 yo phone looks like this xD

[–] The_Cozy_Burrito@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Did you run it over with a car?

[–] Bagantil@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Use a skin :) will probably look like new :D

[–] Horror-Ad1448@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Put it in a case and it should be okay.

[–] 1025Traveller@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah all good. It will buff out.

[–] Madterps2021@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Just need some paint touch up and it'll be like new.

[–] nelsonferdy@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Depth effect

[–] Micazu999@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That's why I never leave the store without a screen protector and durable case.

[–] ashutoshrahulvatsha@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Looks safe enough to just get cuts on the skin. Would take more of your delicate handling and care murder the phone.

[–] Fragrant-Taro-8508@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As long you don’t go near water it won’t really hurt anything. But I’d either get it replaced or at the very least put a case over it to avoid getting glass in your hands and minimize dust getting inside the phone. Or do what I and lots of my friends did back the old days and put clear tape over it.

Apple here… no

You can use it as a razor

[–] ryanb450@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Are you really asking if broken glass is safe? 😂

[–] kniikol@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I’m assuming you don’t have AppleCare. Why do people continue to walk around with phone like this when it’s only $30 to fix it?

[–] Current_Ad7104@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Ye just use a case

[–] cassiusredditt@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago
[–] random_discordian@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Try to put a phone case but personally if I was you I would buy a new one…

[–] anyeral13@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Put a case and save for a glass back.

[–] TechLionDev@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It's an iPhone ofc not

[–] ChevyBerlie@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Reminds me of the time my dad told me he picked up a glass rock, and it cut his finger and it was so sharp that, he didn’t realize that he cut himself

[–] ChevyBerlie@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That back-glass looks like a trip to the hospital

[–] ChevyBerlie@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I would get that repaired if I were you, I recommend UBREAKIFIX

It’s safe in the sense that it won’t die or kill you, but get a case or skin so you don’t get cuts

[–] ChevyBerlie@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

This was at a Pet Supplies Plus back in the 1980’s

[–] Sempot@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago
[–] Party-Title-6281@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

At least put a cover

[–] Hunter_Ware@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

no give it to me.

just kidding, slap a case or even tape on the thing and be careful.

bonus: here’s a photo of my screen after dropping a metal cow bell on it

Use any case for safety

[–] Edumacated1980@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That’s one way to do a tear down

[–] AnotheriPhoneUser@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Put on a case so you dont cut ypurself and dont use in rain. and dont put it in water obviously.

[–] bigdog781@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Grow a glass plate back on it then a skin then it’s like it never happened

[–] Z3r0link-ueg@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

[–] Kasain28@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Why does the photo look like a terrible photoshop lol

[–] RedForkKnife@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago
