I recently upgraded to an iphone 15 Pro Max, and the camera is comparitively huge to my previous phone. I always used to keep my phone camera side down, but with this one I’m a bit hesitant. I usually just put it screen side down.

What do you guys prefer? Which is safer?

Here's how I do it.

No case = face down with screen protector unless I need to see the screen for some reason while it's down

Case = Who cares as long as it has raised edges around the screen and camera module, which most do. Still use a screen protector.

I don't really care about it because my Case puts some Distance between the Cam and / or the Screen and whatever i lay it on.

I use case so doesn’t matter either way to me cos neither front of screen or back of camera lenses touch anything as the case does

No case, camera side down.

Camera down so if you sit the camera is protected by your pants (assuming back pocket). In the rain camera UP! CAMERA UP IN RAIN!!! If the camera is down in the rain, the water will get in the charging port.

I got a case that protects the camera lenses and has corners that prevents my phone from touching any surface screen down so now, lol idgaf I don’t give a shit.

Life must be boring to constantly worrying about stuff.

Doesn't matter that much unless you're klutzy or not careful.

Putting it face side down turns off the always-on display. That saves a tiny amount of battery but can run the risk of scratching the display or screen protector.

Putting it face side up causes the always-on display to be, well, on, and this allows you to see any notifications.

Just get a case and screen protector and be slam boy certified.
