Name one problem you can't solve with enough c4.

[–] Godnroc@lemmy.world 45 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I was going to say "too much C4" but, no, that could solve that too.

Mind blown... Everything else... Also blown up.

I think you can actually solve that one with enough C4 :p

"Every time I had a problem, I threw ~~a Molotov~~ C4 at it and then I had a different problem"

[–] Decoy321@lemmy.world 13 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Ah, the Mendoza philosophy of problem solving!

Unifying quantum theory and general relativity?

[–] Decoy321@lemmy.world 12 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Sounds pretty tough, let's start with a dozen and work our way up.

[–] drbluefall@toast.ooo 4 points 11 months ago (1 children)

A dozen what of C4?

Kilotons?

Megatons?

Solar masses?

[–] Decoy321@lemmy.world 5 points 11 months ago
[–] tslnox@reddthat.com 5 points 11 months ago

You will need a relatively high quantum of C4, duh.

Morgana's dragon.

"Is God real?"

"I dunno but I've killed at least half a dozen things pretending to be one."

I am a simple man. I see Stargate. I click upvote. Simple.

Someone expand this with more franchises...

Farscape: "Hi god, it's me, John. If you're out there, give me a sign!" Scorpius: "You're out of your mind John."

Dr. Who: (David Tennant) "It's taken me all these years to realize that the laws of time are mine and they will obey me!" (Second frame) pouty face

[–] Thisfox@sopuli.xyz 14 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Okay, lost it at pouty face.

Firefly: Book: "I believe there’s a power greater than men, a power that heals." Mal: "Reavers might take issue with that philosophy."

"You're welcome on my ship. God ain't."

He was such a a quitter. One suicide and he gave up. He just needed to jump back and give her a motivational speech when she was a child and presto! Timelord Victorious!

"One man's ceiling is another man's floor."

"A fools paradise is a wise man's hell."

"...Never run with scissors?"

"Like a midget at a urinal .... I was going to have to stay on my toes"

I swear, Bojack has ruined me. I can't read the phrase "let's find out!" And not hear it in Paul F. Thompkins' voice

Hollywoo Stars and Celebrities: What do they know? Do they know things?? Let’s find out!!!

[–] bionicjoey@lemmy.ca 11 points 11 months ago

From the brilliant JD Salinger, author of Catcher in the Rye and... others?

[–] TonyToniToneOfficial@lemmy.ml 4 points 11 months ago

I fucking love Bojack

[–] metaStatic@kbin.social 3 points 11 months ago

What are you doing here?

[–] GCanuck@lemmy.world 19 points 11 months ago (1 children)

What show is the second row from?

[–] MaggiWuerze@feddit.de 33 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (1 children)

Star Trek Voyager. It's from an episode where Harry Kim gets translocated to a planet that sends people through a subspace hole to die. The man pictured takes Kims "return from the afterlife" as an opportunity to question his planets belief in the life after death.

[–] bionicjoey@lemmy.ca 20 points 11 months ago

That episode is probably my favourite episode of Voyager so far (but I'm not very far into it yet). The idea of the culture shock that would come to a whole society when they find out all at once that death is a real thing is fucking crazy and they cover it really well.

Classic Jack O'Neill (not to confuse with Jack O'Neil with one l, who has no sense of humor at all, but at least one atomic bomb for the same purpose).

What does God need for with C4?
