So my macbook ran out of battery and when I turned it back on, this showed up. I panicked as I just bought it two months ago, but then I logged in and it disappeared. What could it be? Should I do something about it and if yes then what exactly? This is my first macbook and I don’t really know anything about them yet.

I had the same issue in my m2 air. I rebooted the device and everything went back to normal. Haven’t had any issues afterwards. This was about 4 months ago.

Looks like a software issue and not hardware so I wouldn’t worry about it

I’m having similar issues every once in a while after coming from sleep. It’s just a software bug. Usually closing and opening lid again after couple seconds or restarting Mac is working. So far I haven’t seen any other hardware related issues. You can sleep just fine 😉
