Sometimes my Apple TV remote controls my tv and sometimes it doesn’t. (alien.top)

When I first set it up everything was great, the remote controlled my tv and speakers without an issue. Then it randomly stopped. It wouldn’t control them for 3 months. Then a week ago it worked again but today it stopped. Any ideas on what’s going on and how I can make it always work?
