I lost or had stolen my iPhone 6s on a drunken night abroad two years ago. I was on FindMy for a different device today and noticed that the Lost Mode activation I performed at the time is still “pending”.

What does that likely mean? Could someone have access to that phone.

u/trashermcd, most likely your device it's in a gazillion pieces, aka it's parts used for other devices...so it will never enter in 'lost' mode.

Apple really should add an option to hide lost or stolen devices. I’d be pissed if I had to be reminded of a stolen iPhone every time I looked at FindMy.

It means that the find my waits for the iPhone 6s to connect on internet so it can be put on lost kode.
