Those things as so tasty. Looks like it could make loads of mushroom steaks. Butter and garlic make all the difference

Thankfully some smaller and not-so-ripe puffballs came up too! I managed to snaffle one. I haven't seen any for several years now, though. It's devastating.

I think this bad boy was REALLY ripe and nearly ready to blow. I probably should have let it. Maybe I would still be finding puffballs!
