A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

Yes but that's not actually 100% always true.

There are enzymatic reactions and some ionizing ones that don't expend the substrate just the air around them, for instance ozone from sparks and probably some some nitrous oxide reactions that are just the air being reconstituted.

Yes, I'm that asshole. Still a good thought.
