I, like many others, add “Reddit” to almost all of my google searches to get those sort of forum results instead of articles, etc.
Obviously kbin, Lemmy, and the like are still in their infancy, but is there any viable way the Fediverse could become searchable in this manner? Or are we forever limited to exact string searches within our own instances?

We may be heading for AI mediated search which could either make that kind of filtering easy or redundant. (Note the 'may' for AI sceptics)
