I use a hook trellis for my tomatoes, cucumbers and vine vegetables.

It's what they use in industrial green houses. Search for lower & lean for more info on how it works. I had it all set up in a community garden I take part in but then the season was super bad and all the plants died due to too much water in the soil :(. Might try it at home once I have good soil there.

Forgot to say: I used hemp string which was a bad idea since it eventually becomes weak. Use some nice synthetic string instead.

I bought the hooks with nylon string.

Next year I'll be adding a center support for the cable to reduce the sag.
