Chris Christie is an idiot, but this is the first explanation that I've seen that makes any sense.

Trump is one of the dumbest beings on the planet. Egotistical delusions and tantrums are his M.O. This explanation lines up perfectly with that.

What if we just gave him some fake documents to play with? Maybe something with lots of pictures and small words so he can understand it. That way he can still play pretend.
