Hello Batman fans! I never got around to watching The Batman when it aired. It's on Netflix now and I'm wondering whether or not it is worth a watch. How does it compare to BTAS or other Batman media? is it at least an 8 out of 10 in terms of quality? I'm curious about other's non-spoiler thoughts.

I really enjoyed this show when it was on the air, I think it’s worth a watch! FYI they change the art style of Batman slightly starting in season 3. Season 4, Episode 7 “Artifacts” is a standout episode, one of my favorite Batman episodes out of all the series that I’ve seen.

Wasn't that quite popular to do with cartoons at the time? I remember a lot of cartoons suddenly getting a new style around that time.

In this case it was a very small change, just the shape of Batman’s chin. Just thought it was a fun fact to post.

That is even more intresting than just a complete style change.

Stylistically very different but has a great vibe. Remember watching when I was in my late teens the bat-tech felt more advanced than btas. There's character development too from what I remember.

Do it.

I am two episodes in and can confirm the show is very stylistically different from BTAS. However it has high production values, cool bat tech and I’m digging the animation style. I’ll give it a few more episodes at least to see if it hooks.

I grew up watching TAS after school everyday and then the New Batman Adventures after that. I never got in to The Batman partly because it was different and partly because I’d aged out of it a bit by then.

I understand where you are coming from and can relate a bit. I am a handful of episodes into The Batman and it hasn’t pulled me in yet. I’ll give it a another handful of episodes before deciding whether or not to stick with it.
