My thoughts for submissions would be:
- Try to use good root sources when posting content.
It doesn't have to be a link to nature, but articles linked should trace back to valid sources. - Might be worth thinking about level of accessibility we want to go for. Some people would be happy with dry papers, others might prefer New-Scientist level, and others might want Guardian/BBC summaries of things.
I think these are great points.
The thing I'd probably enforce is "no paywalls" with regards to sources, but yes, let's aim for a balanced approach where the content is informative yet not overly editorialised, allowing for a good mix between accessibility and trustworthiness.
I'm open about content; I think we're all invested in growing the fediverse and feddit.uk in general, so I feel quite relaxed about finding the accessibility level for now, but let's not make it that you need to bring your PhD every time you log in 😉
