I know self hosted photos is a common question, but is there actually one that can automatically assign names to an animal/pet? I have thousands of pictures of my cat and this feature is the only thing keeping me on Google photos at the moment. I've tried Synology Photos and Photoprism but both require manual naming/tagging as far as I can see. For reference, I have a Synology DS220+

I don’t have any cats or dogs in my Library, but I got chicken and squirrels (identified and cat)

Immich tags my puppy correctly, I need to merge them sometimes into each other as it doesn't always identify it as the same dog but still nearly as good as Google photos.

I imagine a cat would be nearly as good.

AI doesnt make mistakes. The reality is you have two similar looking dogs and you never noticed.

My Immich hasn’t face-tagged any animal photos. Do you need to enable it somehow?
