Same Lol. It works for the well with my whirlwind and death blow build
Man, fuck The Butcher. It was fun the first few times but he pops up like every other Nightmare Dungeon. No good drops either and isn’t worth the time it takes to kill him.
100% agreed, I finally killed him after dying to him like 4 times, and he dropped like 3 sacred rates and one ancestral, and they were all shit. Waste of time and energy.
My first encounter of the butcher had me with my pants down and I ran away, second time I stood and fought but couldn't kill him. Third time he got slayed. The build progression had me since I've waited until 53 to get sacred gear and it's all come together now. What class you like?
I can kill him (level 74) but it still takes too much time. I just switched to WT4 so still working on ancestral gear upgrades.
I’m just playing the meta ice shards sorc. It’s been fun. I used to play a lot of minion builds in POE so skipped necro. Played them all in the various betas. I think I might give Rogue a try when the season starts.
same, it just takes too long. also playing sorc. He shouldn't spawn this often and should be guaranteed to drop something decent. Buff him if necessary, make it an achievement-worthy event...
Yeah that's a nice vulnerable damage roll, I have like 4 copies of this unique all up but never used it because I always had fresh non-uniques with high crit damage and vulnerable damage when they dropped. I'd say the one that makes rupture a blood pool is cooler, but this weapon is better currently because vulnerable damage (will probs be patched). It's hard to fit any weapon mastery skill into my build tho tbh on the basis that
- Multiple basic skills are essential for weapon switch procs
- Rallying cry is essential
- Brawling skills like Leap, War Cry or Kick offer better utility with the right aspects
The Butcher was always a jumpscare for me during the betas, but I actually haven't seen him at all in release. I live in fear that he might return, if anything it's even scarier that he hasn't popped up yet...
That was me for most of my playtime so far, and then BOOM! Two nightmare dungeons in a row he showed up and wrecked my shit before I could even get going.
Just saw him for the first time yesterday. Looks like his health bar moves now, didn't seem to happen in the beta!
sick roll
