There are people wandering around at various conventions that are basically duct-tape wizards. They stock a whole supply of goods to help cosplayers fix issues with their costumes. It's super wholesome.

I want to see more of the adventures of the crafty duct tape wizard!

There’s an anime where a handyman gets transported to a fantasy world and acts as the party’s repairman using tape and wire to fix stuff.

There is an Isekai for each and every kind of person imaginable at this point

Okay, but Reborn as a Vending Machine is legitimately good.

Like, to an upsetting degree.

How am I supposed to convince my friends this whacky BS is genuinely interesting anime?

I wasn't going to watch vending machine. I'm done with isekai and am tired of watching these shows even ironically.

My son and coworker both recommended it, so I reluctantly watched an episode.

It's good as an ironic comedy. Didn't hit strongly, but it was good enough for a watch.

Well, whats the name?

Edit: I suppose it is this one https://somuchscifi.com/benriya-saitou-san-isekai-ni-iku-review/

That show is great! Watched it on a whim and have really enjoyed it so far

i fucking love shadowy gremlin wizards who apparently achieve magic purely through the gods finding their antics funny or taking pity on them

Contractors actually do use dust tape as a bandage. You can probably find videos about it.

[–] shottymcb@lemm.ee 2 points 11 months ago

Superglue is where it's at. I prefer the hair around my injuries to be attached to my skin rather than duct tape

[–] flyoverstate@kbin.social 2 points 11 months ago

patently wrong, electrical tape is the go to

[–] atrielienz@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Is the toilet tissue as gauze optional or?

[–] RIP_Cheems@lemmy.world 7 points 11 months ago

If it ain't fixed, USE MORE.

If the party doesn’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Quando omni flunkus moritati!

I cast Sticky Side Out at the giant tiger. If it falls its Dex save then it has to spend 1d4 turns freaking out while trying to get the tape off its paws.

The power of positive thinking and ducttape will allways prevail against the forces of ickyness

I mean, that's a perfectly valid answer to someone asking to a wizard for healing. ^^ Next time, that warrior will learn his spellcasters. :P
