Sounds like a good way to play Russian roulette with getting banned from Steam.

Id love to see a source on how risky this actually is. Is there something in the steam toss that you cant mod this specific file on a legally bought game? I’ve been using sm similar for cities skylines for a while now.
I know people have gotten banned for pirating full games through steam but i have yet to see it happen over dlc.
If I made my research correctly, you won't get banned for unlocking dlc in offline games. Online might be a problem though.
Although even the worst case shouldn't be that bad. Games without VAC can only ban you in that specific game, only adding a red text on your profile page. It should not affect your Steam account in any other way.
Personally, I've used Cream API to unlock all dlcs in Cities Skylines, and had no major issues.
Is this better than Cream.api .
it looks like it's similar to SmokeAPI which is used by CreamApi, though SmokeAPI has much more code (I don't really know what for, it seems pretty bloated actually, but some of it is an improvement over my version), and more importantly SmokeAPI isn't crossplatform
Might wanna see what csrin says about this.
