A community for everything related to Palestine and the occupation currently underway by the occupying force known as Israel.

Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. Existence is resistance for Palestinians.

Please refer to Israel as Occupied Palestine, or occupied territories. The IDF is a fascist and ethnonationalist occupying force. Israelis are settlers. We understand however that the imperial narrative (which tries to legitimise Israel) is internalised in the imperial core and slip-ups are naturally expected.

We always take the sides of Palestine and Palestinians and are unapologetic about it. Israel is an occupying power whose "defence force"'s (note the contradiction) sole purpose for existing is to push Palestinians out so they can resettle their rightful land. If you have anything positive to say about Israel we do not care.

So more of the usual Zionist propaganda crap got released today, just like any other day since the 7th of October. How will I explain this? Today there has been released a pre-recorded video of a sketch (I don't know what else to call it) of an actress posing as a 7 Oct Hamas rape victim reporting their rape to a fictitious organisation called "Police Global." So basically the video is orchestrated to create a strawman narrative of how the international community supposedly disregards and ignores rape victims of Hamas militants. In this video, the actress theatrically cries throughout and also claims that al-Qassam militants filmed themselves committing real/fictitious/theatrical rape, and the victim turns their screen to show Police Global the rape film they acquired from Hamas, of themselves being raped by Hamas, which is then dismissed by two other actresses, one of which represents Police Global, another of which is a portrayal of a Hamas supporting western feminist who works for Police Global in a pink shirt. The woman in the pink shirt says that rape is fine against Israelis or something, to the crying depicted rape victim. There's now a new hashtag being circulated by Zionists alongside this new digital media, #rapeisnotresistance.

The video was originally uploaded to Instagram (with 2.1 million views and growing), then shared on Twitter/X with at least 1 million views in one tweet.

Typing an accurate description of this few-minute-long video and its reach makes me feel like I'm going insane. Yet someone employed by an official organisation in Israel with substantial state-backed funding mentally conceived of this concept, spoke with their colleagues about it, got the idea approved, a team wrote a script, made props, and communicated with actresses to act out a staged rape report video.

If I recall correctly, the festival mass rape story was retracted?

Anyways, I did a reverse image search of the actress who played the Oct 7 rape victim and found that she works for an organisation called "The Hive" (הכוורת). They have a YouTube channel where they talk about their work as "Social Entrepreneurs", funded by two large organisations, 'Joint Israel', and 'National Insurance Funds'. There are literally animations in their videos where paper money falls from the top to the bottom of the screen, advertising that their "social entrepreneurship" is lucrative. What I'm getting at is that they're obviously a propaganda company that markets propaganda. Millions of people are getting their heartstrings pulled at in order to support an ongoing genocide against one of the most oppressed peoples in the world. It has been well over a month and I still haven't seen any proof of any sexual abuse during the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, nor have I seen any trusted source outside of Israel verify footage of sexual abuse that is adamantly proclaimed to be easily accessible by Zionists.

Link to the below image.

The below image is a direct screenshot from one of the YouTube videos published by The Hive. The organisation is clearly advertising this actress's ability to fake cry.

Classic propaganda trick. The enemy is a raping horde of satanists and they are coming after your wife and daughters! It worked in Indonesia, Brazil, etc.

Israel has declared that Gaza will become their permeant "security responsibility" for an "indefinite period of time". This will include the permeant annexation of Gaza into Israel, the permeant stationing of IDF troops in Gaza, and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by forcing them to move to Egypt or the West Bank as Gaza is rightful Jewish territory.

All calls for a ceasefire have been rejected, Netanyahu stand by the position that they will see this through to the end, and will not pause to allow civilians to escape, or to allow humanitarian relief to enter Gaza.

I want to question about the Zionist excuse that Israel can forcebly deport Palestinians on their perceived lack of ancestry to the ancient Israel kingdom since the Palestinians have ancestors of Hebrews who stayed in Israel after the mass exodus by the Roman empire. Although many of the Palestinain descendents of the former Israel kingdom adopted Muslim Arabian culture, it should not invalidate their right to stay in Israel. The non-Jewish Cannanites had lived in Palestine long before the formation of Israel, but there are no one who agree to evicted any people in Palestine who do not adopted the religion of Canaan, so why should Israel have the authority to evicted the descendent of Israelites who abandoned their ancestral religion.

Non-Zionist search engines?

I started noticing it’s increasingly difficult to find anti-Zionist resources using any search engine, Bing, Duckduck, Google, Qwant, Freespoke, etc.

My key search term was “sea to river,” which is the Zionist antithesis of “River to the sea.” Even with quotes, mainstream search engines results would either be empty or flooded with River-to-sea results. It wasn’t like that a few days ago. Pretty clear there’s a concerted effort effort to control the narrative by making it impossible to know the real history and intentions of Zionism.

I found Yandex to be fairly unbiased and was able to return ample results.

The city of Oakland just passed a resolution to call for a ceasefire :). The city council members had attempted to include an amendment that would've condemned Hamas, but comrades and local citizens had quite a bit to say about that during a speak in session. Very impassioned and kind people, with a few nasty zionists in between.

Some zionist from the ADL claimed that someone behind her said "Heil Hitler" (referring to the pro-palestinian people ofc), and newsflash, no one said that at all 😂. At one point, a member went on about the sacrifice of Isaac and Ishmael when it came time to vote on the resolution??????

One thing about being an anime fan is that you're always reminded that most of your peers don't consider Japanese people to be thinking, breathing humans unless they regurgitate right wing talking points.

There have been some Pro-Palestine demonstrations in Japan and the usual suspects are convinced that it's nothing but foreign agents and "globalists" stirring up trouble in White people Wakanda. https://www.asahi.com/sp/ajw/articles/15050476

The framing of Ansar Allah blockade is completely wrong and needs to be rectified.

It's wrong to state that Houthis are threatening to attacking civilian ships.

Instead, private shipping companies are illegally attempting to evade Yemeni sanctions against Israel.

The Western leaders are truly not going to give an inch with this, it seems. But they also seem hesitant to comment on things because they see the huge pro-Palestina crowds. But they also can't go against daddy USA. It's good to see them afraid for once.

[–] freagle@lemmygrad.ml 15 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

The Western tactic has forever been to be anti-semitic, declare places with brown people terra nullius, create fake Westphalian nation-states in such a way that it causes everyone physically impacted to immediately be in mortal conflict, reframe ethnic displacement from a form of genocide to a form of benevolence, and then narrate anyone who opposes their program as actually a genocidal barbarian who's only desire is to genocide the people the West wanted to deport in the first place.

The zionists funneled the residents of Gaza at the Egyptian border, telling them that's where they were allowed to escape.

Then they bombed it.

The world is literally watching a holocaust happen. Not just reading about it like in the 40s. But watching it. And liberals are either ignoring it or standing with the ones perpetrating it.

Not a single person who stands with Israel should be allowed to forget what they supported.

[–] AssortedBiscuits@hexbear.net 19 points 11 months ago (1 children)

They did the same exact thing almost a century ago. It was the Red Army who brought the Holocaust to an end, not the West.

Going to a "shut it down" protest on Thursday outside my city hall, seems like it will be pretty big. Tons of people walking out of work and school.

Hearing talks of tax strikes/boycotts. Nothing too organized yet, but it's interesting to hear that sentiment. I think this could be the beginning of something

the confirmed number of martyrs has surpassed fucking 10 thousand. unlimited death to israel.

[–] ComradeSalad@lemmygrad.ml 16 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I hate even having to call them martyrs. Martyr implies that someone died for a cause or because of a held belief. The vast amount of these deaths are children, babies, the elderly, the sick, innocents, civilians. They are no fighters, nor combatants. They died no glorious death. They are innocents being mindlessly slaughtered.

Yesterday I saw Motaz’s Instagram reel. He was in Deir Al Balah, where he filmed the aftermath of an intense Israeli attack. I have seen graphic images and videos from the war in Syria, from the war on Gaza in 2014, and from earlier in the 2023 Gaza genocide. I can’t remember ever seeing footage worse and more heart-wrenching than what Motaz posted.

I will write this from my memory. I think in those few minutes there were at least 10 casualties shown. The start of the video is the recovery of only a severed hand from a smouldering pile of metal. Building(s) were levelled and blown open, and ash and concrete dust were everywhere. Someone got blown backwards onto what I think was a tree and died with his lower body in the air and a piece of shrapnel penetrated his crown/skull, so fluid from his brain and the rest of his body was pulled down behind him. I saw someone still alive brought onto a mattress with shrapnel penetrating his leg, the top of his leg bone snapped, it left and re-entered his skin through the open wound as he readjusted himself. I saw this also happen to a young girl in Gaza weeks ago.

I think I remember 3 or more dead children being brought out from under rubble, and more dead adults. A bunch of cars were on fire. I saw someone say the death toll from that specific massacre was 43 at the time, now put at 60-70.

CW: [1] [2] [3]

This was in the south of the Gaza Strip, where they were initially told by the occupation army that they would be safe. Predictably, they have now extended the line even further, and the occupation is now attacking Khan Younis, dropping more leaflets in the sky. The aim of these leaflets is to spread terror and attack any feeling of safety that the people of the Gaza Strip might still have in their homeland. The same strategy which was used by the Zionist forces to carry out the first Nakba. In the West Bank Israel flew quadcopters equipped with speakers to fly up to Palestinian people and say in Arabic “We are at war, don’t try to resist us or else we will reach you and your children, and kill you.” or something like that according to translations I’ve seen people make. The thousands of massacres committed by Israel should prove to everyone that they don’t care about humanitarianism. Apparently, yesterday was the heaviest day of fighting according to an IDF commander.

In conclusion, the only place within the Gaza Strip where a Palestinian is maybe permitted the right to life at this time, by the occupation army, is Rafah, and the areas around Rafah. This is in line with Zionist policy as shown by the document released by WikiLeaks. Push everyone further south and then into the Sinai desert, and murder everyone else who refuses to leave with starvation, thirst, bombs and bullets. Not a single major Western leader, to my knowledge, has even said a word against this genocide committed by their ally. Not even speak when they pretend to care about an issue, as politicians often do.

The ICC must face a huge amount of pressure to investigate and attempt to prosecute these crimes against humanity after this is over and everyone in the Gaza Strip is in exile in what might become the world’s largest refugee camp. What other country would willingly submit and comply with the ICC if they refuse to punish the USA’s biggest ally after committing the crime of genocide? What mandate will they have left if they prove themselves to that extent not to be apolitical?

My worry is that the Sisi regime will hesitate to accept the diaspora created by the occupation and that the Zionists will make an example of the Palestinians already funnelled into Rafah in order to place huge pressure on Egypt.

My other worries were that Hezbollah would also face huge pressure to escalate its attacks on Israel if/when this happens. Perhaps the commentators who say that Hezbollah exists primarily to defend Lebanon and that it isn’t equipped to wage a massive war with Israel are right. I’m not the most informed person about whether there is a prospect of a larger escalation. I have seen stories over this year predicting a major economic financial crisis next year. What got Western countries out of the great depression was the military production of the Second World War. I hope my thinking is just misguided alarmism.

I had to leave my thoughts here. I don’t know what I could have done which would have made any difference to this.

Edit: Immediately after posting this, I learned that the UN Secretary-General António Guterres just invoked Article 99 of the UN Charter.

The Secretary-General may bring to the attention of the Security Council any matter which in his opinion may threaten the maintenance of international peace and security.

[–] Comrade_Joshu@lemmygrad.ml 18 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago) (2 children)

My thoughts on Israel’s plan. Given their complete collapse into genocidal fascism:

  • Humiliate Muslim nations. If Muslim nations don’t respond Israel will have set a new paradigm where they know they can do anything they like and there’s no precedent for intervention. Then, use that to expand into the Sinai and Jordan, possibly more.

  • If there is intervention: go nuclear. The US might think it will benefit from a contained nuclear conflict by testing out strategies of containing a nuclear conflict. Israel may think it will benefit by restoring the possibility of nuclear war and use that to expand into the Sinai and Jordan, possibly more.

I really think it’s a mistake to not do an oil blockade. The surrounding Arab nations are sealing their fate and will come to regret acting in self interest today.
