Like you I just finished Pikmin 1. I'm 10 hours into Pikmin 2 now but I'm not enjoying it as much. It's more of an action game and less of a strategy game it seems. I kinda miss the pressure to find all the ship parts too.
Patient Gamers
A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Loved the first one. It was a great game. I'm off the Nintendo ecosystem now though as I cannot justify the prices they charge for old games. As a patient gamer, I find that galling.
Don't make me dust off the cube...
I've actually begun boycotting Nintendo around a year ago because I got so sick of them not putting games on sales.
There are only a few games I'm missing, but I was able to play the new Metroid on an Emulator. Tears of the kingdom and Pikmin 4 I am not sure if I will bother emulating or not l, but I definitely am interested in Pikmin 4. Just wish Nintendo could be like valve and others and price games reasonably
What do people think of the demo of Pikmin 4? Is it a good place to get started with the franchise?
Absolutely. It teaches you everything you need to know so don't worry even if you haven't played Pikmin before.
The music is so great!
It's so good! I think my record was 7 days... but I might be misremembering and it was 17.
