I think today was the closing of the API, right? So all the bot reposts on Lemmy should go away now? I'm looking forward to posts from Lemmings dominating my feed again.

You can also turn off display of bot accounts in Settings if you disable "Show Bot Accounts".

I'm mostly excited to see how we can all contribute to building a fresh and unique experience here.

I’d be happy if the bot reposts were over with

I thought the API was just a cap, 60 per second or something. Shouldn't be an issue for a bot posting every hour or so.

if you are talking about lemmit.online i think it works by scraping reddit pages, it does not rely on the api best thing to do is block and move on
