Does anybody have tips for parking at or near the o2 for an event?

My wife is heavily pregnant so we would rather drive in but venue parking is pricey and on their website they are warning about traffic due to roadworks.

Find a car park a tube stop or two away.

Drop her at the O2 early with money for a happy meal, go to car park and get tube to the O2.

IIRC, you can buy a ticket to watch a film and it's cheaper to park than going to a concert and paying for that parking.

No specific suggestions, but could you drive most of the way and take the tube one or two stops (or even one of the #ferries). Not great, but it does open up your parking options.

Tenacious D only UK show was there. It was a good show and worth the effort.

Paid to park at the Holiday Inn Express if anyone wanted the info. Worked out well.
