Haven't touched my PS4 in ages, but turned it back on to give Bloodborne another try. With Boost mode performance is almost playable this time, so might play on one screen with college football on the other this afternoon.
Edit: I'm bad.

still trying to finish my 1st season of PGA 2K23. I also installed but haven't started Calisto Protocol after finishing another run through of Shadow of Mordor.
The Callisto Protocol on PS5 (PS Plus). However not sure whether to continue or not.
I have read that you cannot get the actual ending of the game without buying the DLC - which I find totally BS.
That's annoying.
If you are enjoying the gameplay, just finish the game, and watch the ending on YouTube, if you don't intend to buy the DLC.
I do that for almost all secret endings. Just watch on YouTube.
Baldur's Gate (in act 3 now), Lies of P, and just dipped my toe into Warhammer 40k Darktide. It's quite nice having very different games to bounce between.
I've got Cocoon waiting a well. I heard it's quite short so maybe I'll boot it up on an evening where Lies of P is kicking my arse too much lol
It's a trap! That's how I ended up starting a dozen different games.
How are you enjoying Lies of P? I have tons of soulsborne to go through if I reach Lies of P, but it looks interesting.
It's pretty great so far. It's easily the most polished non-FromSoft souls like I've played. The weapon system is a lot of fun to muck around with and try new movesets, and it's fairly free with the upgrade materials, so you can try many different weapons. It definitely takes some getting used to, and it starts off feeling more punishing than some of its peers. But the game really wants you to mix Perfect guards and dodges, not just rely on one. Once that clicks it feels really nice to play
Ah, sounds interesting, and tough to master.
I'd say it may take a little time to 'click' at first but, there's still plenty of ways to make it easier. E.g. consumables, certain weapon combos
Interesting. Thanks for the info!
Cocoon took me 3-4 hours and I thought it was fantastic!
Was finally financially stable to pick up Diablo 4 on ps5 last weekend which I haven’t had a good chance to explore yet. Tonight though! Anyone know a good place to get partied up?
Continuing DQXI and trying to learn Civ VI.
I have played many Civ games but haven't jumped in Civ VI yet. Too many games to play, and when you get hooked on Civilization, it sucks away all your time!
Good luck!
I loved Ragnrok. I’m busy with Baldur’s gate 3 now and really like it. I guess I should give a try to Cocoon then, if I trust what you play.
Haha, maybe! Did you ever play Limbo or Inside? The game designer for those games made cocoon.
Both Limbo and Inside is one of the best games I ever played, can't wait to start cocoon!
I am back to playing Spider-Man, getting ready for 2!
Oooh. I never do that so close to the next game, I fear burning out. Hope you have fun!
Completed my first playthrough of FF16 last week. Great experience, although not perfect. It's the opposite of FF15 for me: while 15 gradually narrowed down the openness toward the end to achieve a tight narrative finish, FF16 pacing in the final act really faltered. The penultimate boss is generic religious nutjob spouting generic obedient sentiment compared to the previous personal fights. And they bombarded you with too many side quests right before the final fight, which massacred the pacing. So it's not perfect pacing-wise, but with excellent gameplay and characters, overall I still really enjoy this.
Meanwhile, just started the Burning Shores expansion of HFW. Love how "good" it is to explore the world on the PS5, excited for the future sequel.
That's interesting to hear about FF16.
Also, "penultimate" is an interesting word. Don't see it as often as it deserves.
Demon's Souls!
Not getting much play time, only played a few hours. I remember mentioning somewhere that game doesn't feel as hard as I remember, well, I think that jinxed it, I died a dozen or so times after that. Finally stopped playing where I reached the next boss. First I ran back to Nexus to level up, hadn't been able to do that in ages cause I kept dying, then went to fight the boss, took half the health in first try, but the boss seems to be the kind that gets tougher the less HP it has.
Also playing Storyteller, with Netflix sub! I don't usually play on mobile, but the game was on my wish list, and it's a puzzle game with drag and drop, so when I saw it on Netflix I tried it right away and it feels completely natural. I have finished the main story, but still have devil levels left, and all the stamps.
Finally picked up Jedi survivor because it’s patched up and on sale. It’s so good! Also still playing everspace 2 :)
I'm waiting for a sale now that it's in decent shape. Excited to start it
Have you played the first Everspace? I was playing it, and while I like the setting, couldn't get into it.
Everspace 1 is probably my favorite game of all time. 300+ hours lol, the gameplay loop just never gets old for me. I’m actually having a hard time getting into everspace 2 - the liner nature instead of rougelike makes it so so much more grindy. And the story is really boring. But the gameplay is fun and a lot of QOL fixes over 1, I’m still happy with it overall but it was disappointing and I liked 1 better
Well, I think it's the controls, coupled with the fact that I am not a big fan of rogulelikes. If Everspace 2 is linear, I may like that more.
Ah, I love rougelikes haha. My second most played game is hades 😂
Hades is on my wishlist, I hope it will prove to be an exception, but in general, if I see "rougelike"/"roguelite", I just ignore the game.
