July 1. New fiscal year, right? They're probably doing all the media stuff now and going to unveil on Monday?

Not gonna lie, I was worried when City bid for him. It's huge for us that we've sealed our big priority signing. So thrilled with it.
And we best Bayern Munich to Rice earlier in the window too. I've been supporting Arsenal for 10 years now and I never thought they would go for a 100m players.
I wasn't worried. Both Bayern and City won't "overpay" and we were the only team who was actually serious about negotiating with West Ham. City's bid felt like a shot in the dark that would force us to meet West Hams valuation.
