Anyone else excited for City Skylines 2? I'm pretty impressed with all the changes they've introduced, it should be a more dynamic experience this time around.

With the focus on scale, I'm keen to see how performance goes this time around. I remember in previous huge cities it could start to chug.

I'm assuming we'll get at least FSR / DLSS upscaling support this go around too?

I just want the roads to be easier to place this time.

They hired creator of intersection marking tool and node controller, the new road tools seem to be near equal to CS1 + mod experience

They have videos on the road building tools, and from what we have seen so far road building will be much better than CS1.

I'm very excited. I'm a little disappointed the overall map size (with mods) will be slightly smaller but the multi threading and removal of upper limits on things like citizen count are great. This will unlock more potential for "power users" on PC while also keeping the game good for most users.

I can't wait.

Might want to link to the Dev diaries directly? but yeah, this plus multithreading is an exciting combo
