That is crazy considering this is a web app! Never had such a smooth experience with webapps on iOS before Whish radarr and sonarr would be that smooth, lol

[–] sijt@lemmy.world 13 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

It might be the best PWA I’ve ever used. It’s incredible. And so close to feature parity with Apollo this early. I’m blown away.

I use LunaSea for sonarr and radarr on iOS. Worth trying if you haven’t already.

[–] Petter1@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Awesome, thank you for the recommendation! I’ll check it out ASAP

[–] kratoz29@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago

I never was a fan of web apps, but this one is outstanding.

[–] seang96@spgrn.com 2 points 2 years ago

I think it is crazier that according to commit history it's only been being produced in about a weeks time. It is the best PWA I have ever seen in quality.

[–] Yasuke@lemmy.fmhy.ml 2 points 2 years ago

Yeah even though I want it to be native it is still pretty darn fast.

[–] FalseLight@lemmy.one 10 points 2 years ago (3 children)

It’s exactly like Apollo. I’m in love.

[–] kratoz29@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

It feels so nice, even on Android.

[–] Alperto@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Full screen? I’ve not tried it there yet but that’s amazing!

[–] Yasuke@lemmy.fmhy.ml 1 points 2 years ago

If only it was native.

[–] slacks9579@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 years ago

wefwef gang

[–] slug@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

really impressive for a pwa

[–] realitista@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago

The best one.

[–] TORFdot0@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Wefwef is great except for the fact that it only works about 20% of the time for me

[–] garretble@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

For what it’s worth, they just did a patch (within the last hour) and it should now stop dropping all the time. The dev worked with the lemmy.world guy(s) and figured it out.

[–] TORFdot0@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah it has definitely been working much better for the last hour or so. Just in time for Apollo to stop working too!

[–] btmoo@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I tried to upvote this, but wefwef lost connection and wouldn't let me.

[–] rin@pcglinks.com 1 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

FYI that was an issue with lemmy.world rate limiting wefwef.app. Dev just pushed out 0.8.1 which is supposed to help with that.

What I’m using at the moment. Loving it coming from Apollo. Feels exactly the same.

[–] Swuden@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Wefwef is great! Only thing I’m missing is a sort of compact mode on posts. Other than that it’s perfect.

[–] Kronusx12@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

The dev just added compact mode like hours ago! Go check for updates and it will be in your settings.

Here is the post confirming it: https://lemmy.world/post/863116

[–] Swuden@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

Perfect! Thanks for the heads-up!

Yes. Wefwef

[–] Mongorlio@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago

Wefwef.app - a browser-based web app with an Apollo look and feel. I found it yesterday and it’s instantly my fav.

Wefwef is missing

[–] Kalashnikitty@startrek.website 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Out of interest, does anyone know how close any of them are to be freely available on the App Store for iOS?

I'm currently using wefwef and it's really good, but I think I might still enjoy a native app nonetheless.

[–] SlovenianSocket@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 years ago

Memmy has been submitted for App review, so that might be the first app to hit the store

Really hoping we get an official Apollo client for Lemmy! (Granted the current clones aren't bad, but I'm a fan of the OG)

[–] baggyspandex@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

I agree. I really hope Christian is still into developing for a platform that is similar.

Lemon but it isn’t out yet, see https://lemm.ee/post/116554

[–] Lachy@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

I haven’t heard of Liftoff or Thunder. I’ve got wefwef, Memmy and I’m just now trying Mlem for the first time. I haven’t found a perfect one so far, but as an Apollo refugee, wefwef is nice

[–] magmaus3@szmer.info 1 points 2 years ago

You can also add the web app

[–] mykl@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Liftoff! is love, Liftoff! is life.

[–] _pete_@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

I want to love it but honestly it’s probably my least favourite of all of them right now. Then UI feels pretty unpolished and I’m not a fan of the rounded corners on everything 🫤

[–] airportline@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)
[–] nightscout@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago

I prefer Memmy the most because it’s the most feature complete. But WefWef is also really nice and I use that sometimes too.

[–] katzen@feddit.de 1 points 2 years ago

You should try all of them, if possible. Then turn your focus on the one app that you like the most, and give feedback.

They are all great apps in their own ways.
