Looting shops is not protesting

"Random" is the place where all the content from the Fediverse that couldn't be classified into any other magazine ends up.
It's funny... The elite fully believe that their ends always justify their means. Alinsky wrote that the relevant question isn't, do the ends justify the means, but do these ends justify these means?
It must be sad to believe that means deserve more scrutiny than ends.
Are you justifying looting and violence?
Are you justifying police killing with impunity?
No, but responding by looting stores is just unacceptable. Imagine being the shipowner, or imagine your car being burned… violence is not the answer. It is not protesting either. These people are just looking for a reason to fight the police and steal stuff
So what is the answer?
You can protest in other, non violent ways.
