I’ve been brewing indoors on a gas stove and it takes forever to get 10 gallons to a boil. I bought an outdoor propane burner and haven’t taken it for a spin yet. How long does a propane tank usually last you?

A 5lb tank was usually good for 3 crawfish boils for me, which is basically the same setup as a beer boil. I think you could expect 5 or so?

10 kg of propane-butane tank lasted me for about 5 or some more batches of 30l.

It is hard to estimate because it is used for more things than beer. I always tried to have min 2 kg of gas before starting brewing.
