Moments ago I finished this modern take on possession horror and, my goodness, what a film! It's one of those horror pieces that'll linger with you long after the credits roll. Very unsettling and depressing.

I also learned post viewing that it was banned in Kuwait for starring transgender actor Zoe Terakes. How asinine. As humanity makes advancements the opposite end of the spectrum drags their knuckles even deeper into the ground.

This was surprisingly good. The first 15 minutes dragged a bit and I just wasn’t into it. Then something turned and I was hooked. It was dark and terrifying. I don’t get scared much with horror anymore, but this one got me.

It's disturbing. The imagery and depressive tone really got to me.

Enjoyed this one a lot. I think it's uncontroversial to say it's a bit of an allegory for drug use and peer pressure.

Great movie by all means.

I liked this movie. Using an actual voodoo hand as a drug was a novel concept. Some parts of the movie were predictable, but overall it was very good

I enjoyed it a lot... but I actually feel like 60% of the movie felt either dragging or unnecessary filler. It kept making things seem more spooky... but a lot of it felt unnecessary. I rated it 6/10, still good, slow burn, ends solid.
