I’ve only been using the home widget and Timery so far, but I bet there’s a few really good ones out there many people haven‘t come across yet.

I hope everyone has some great suggestions here. I read a few articles on ‘best interactive widgets’ that all seemed to be for apps I don’t use and/or would not consider because of permissions. I thought Apple would be all over this with their own apps, but not as yet it seems.

Everything now has fucking in app purchases…I’m using the apps I already paid for, built in apps and that’s it.

Maybe it’s still a bit too early, most apps will probably get updates later on.

Overcast (podcast player) has a list of recent episodes with a play/pause button next to each one. Simple, but so much nicer than launching an app.

I’m a single-pager when it comes to home screens, so screen real estate is exclusive for me.

I found one interactive widget worth putting into a 2x2 stack: CardPointers. I can quickly update and review the best credit card to use at wherever I am, from my Home Screen. Nice.

If I wasn’t such a stickler on keeping a single Home Screen, I’d probably use a larger Reminders widget. (I like checking stuff off lists. :-)

I'm really liking the new StandBy function. I went ahead and bought a stand to use next to my bed. I love having the clock and the weather together.
