I played the first couple of hours, and then my emulator was screwing up, so I stopped. But I was surprised it went that long without a boss.

The beginning is def. slow, which plays into the combat thing, but into chapter 2 is when the pace becomes alot better I feel.
been playing it slooooowly since launch and it's just as neat every time I return to play some more
I think I'm definitely getting a bit old to handle the bros. moves inputs well
@Dirt_Owl@hexbear.net Your thoughts on the game? Since I'm guessing you beat it by now as well.
I've been kinda busy with other stuff but I have managed to get to just after the second lighthouse.
I'm enjoying it, but like you said it's a bit slow in the beginning. I wish there were more bosses.
I don't really know how to rank it because when it's good it's great but when it lags it starts feeling like Dream Team. I'd say so far it's better than Dream Team but not as good as Inside Story, Superstar Saga or Partners in Time.
It's still great though. That platformer based battle system is always a blast.
