it's sickening to see the "bombing civilian cities was the lesser evil" line being touted almost 80 years later, given all the declassified information we now have access to

make sure no one with an iota of interest in the history - or supposed "morality" - of this war crime misses this detailed video essay that proves the state department line was always bullshit
