Given their history of having comments removed for trolling + bigotry, plus they only started this here after being banned from news@lemmy.world, I've removed them as mod.

Thank you for your hardwork.

Do you have any idea who might be replacing them? Just curious.

I was thinking about just closing the community, considering it's not really active and got filled with US focused news. There's lots of other more appropriate news communities on other instances for US news.

That’s probably for the best, but it’s up to you guys. I just think that whatever happens, the posts defending child rape should be deleted.

To be clear, its not just rape but CHILDHOOD rape that the mod is arguing in favour of: https://lemmy.ca/u/john89:

The following is all about an 11-13 year old who was raped by their teacher, and now the teacher is pregnant by her victim:

Males and females are different.

Males are way less likely to regret having sex before the law says they’re allowed to. (you know, when their brains are fully developed and they can look back on their actions) With females, it’s the opposite. https://lemmy.ca/post/37565098/14016925

Would he still be able to consent to it, though? https://lemmy.ca/post/37565098/14017085

Whether or not someone is raped is based on consent, which is why people are so adamant about the law determining who can and cannot give consent. The law isn’t a consistent indicator of rape, because there are jurisdictions where this “same fucking thing” would be legal. https://lemmy.ca/post/37565098/14016258

Is it rape if he consented to it? https://lemmy.ca/post/37565098/14013804
