But will they deliver a working game or is it gonna be a repeat of 2020 where only portions of the game works at any given time? And also am I gonna be able to literally communicate at all? I can forgive 2020s bullshit if they'd just let me talk to other people.

Yeah I'm pretty hesitant to pick this up. I've been casually watching 2020 for when the bugs would be mostly quashed and the feature list complete. Then all of sudden they're "surprise! we made another one instead!". I know they say they're still working on 2020, but I'm being very patient and cautious with 2024.

They mentioned recently that they intend to continue slimming down the base client and download of MSFS2020 -- I'd imagine these gains will translate to 2024 as well.
