Can't believe it's someone's job to make this list and this is what they came up with. A 14-year-old with internet access could name way more major players.

As it is not mentioned by OP : anime site it's speaking about is HiAnime.

Excerpt :

HiAnime, the world's biggest anime piracy streaming site, is now one of the newest additions to the U.S. government's annual list of notorious piracy and counterfeiting markets.

Thanks! Been looking for a good one since 9anime died. Glad the government did all the work in finding and recommending replacement. Been hopping around for a while.

Yeah, I'm just glad the popularity of streaming sites keeps eyes off the torrent scene.

Salute to our streaming bros for being human shields for us.

the more convenient something is, the more its going to be targetted. people are lazy to (optionally) get a vpn(depending on jurisdiction), download and watch their content.

Original Nyaa died years ago, this is the revived Nyaa.

If they keep attacking all my favorite streaming sites then I guess I'll have to finally figure out this torrenting and Usenet thing.

No! The more of you weirdos that switch to the clearly superior form of piracy, the more they'll go after p2p sites.

id imagine Sony is behind this given they have the most to lose from anime piracy specifically in the U.S
