I know some people will disagree and have had different experiences, especially recently, but its the only place I'm not bombarded with obnoxious takes about things I care about literally all the time instead of just occasionally.

Yeah this place rocks. I'm glad I can get a reliably sane take on current events here. I do like that we're all fighting all the time too, it feels exciting! 
I have only been here a couple days and I am enjoying myself quite a bit. I am finding this refreshing. I was on the verge of exhaustion with popular social media. I'm glad I found Hexbear.
