A community for Cartographers with nothing left to lose.
Rules:
Don't be awful Lemmy Guidelines Still Apply.
No direct upload images This is hosted on Lemm.ee- to post images, you must use an image upload service like Imgur to post maps.
We are agents of chaos I've created this to be the alternative to the community I used to manage on the website that shalt not be named "mapporncirclejerk"
Live and let die Meme trends happen, so please don't message mods asking to take down maps that are repetitive to a bit.
Reposts Vs. Covers Not all reposts are evil- if someone posts something that has been done years ago, it serves to bring old memes to the new users. I call these meme covers. However it can be done in excess which makes it a repost and spam. Mods will determine if a post is a cover or a repost.
No impersonating mods I can't believe I had to make this rule.
No harassing mods on an appeal We can talk it out, and we will be acting in good faith when making decisions. If you disagree with a removal, you are free to message for clarification or to appeal by giving some added context.
Bans Bans will be set to a maximum of 365 days for humans, and a minimum of 365 years for bots. I believe people can change, so if you are banned for good reason, do know that it is not permanent, it is just a way to say "take time to grow and come back when you are ready".

Is this...map porn?
I hope this doesn't awaken anything in me
Oh no it did
Maybe our passion can keep the AMOC going.
I thought this was dumb as shit, but now I can't unsee it. Thanks
It’s like trying to watch scrambled cable porn in the late 80s / early 90s.. if you squint just right, and tilt your head slightly you can see it!
Wait a second...
Stupid sexy Flanders
Excuse me while I get my bottle of bleach .... I want to try to unsee that ... because that image looks like nothing at all

I don't know man. That's quite the age gap.
But that thigh gap is the size of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge
That should replace “throwing a hotdog down a hallway” as a euphemism.
My favourite came from an episode of MadTV from the late 90s
A woman has given birth and her husband is so sexually frustrated that he just wants to get back to having sex with this wife again ... the wife pushes him off and says "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? ... I'm not ready yet! ... it would be like throwing a pencil down a mineshaft!"
You really shouldn't be that thirsty for salt water.
That deep water Hydrothermal vent tho
When her hot folds boil your foreskin off... 😩
"Baby .... I just want to spread open your tectonic plates and watch your magma flow"
Stupid sexy Flanders.
Stupid sexy Atlanti-chan.
I see the legs a little differently, with mostly the left thigh & ass cheek with a bit of the right thigh in the bottom right.
You saw it like this too?
I did, and I realized that the body mechanics of left leg + right shoulder forward make less sense unless one is preparing for a twirl, or maybe the end of a forehand stroke (from tennis).
Please excuse my shitty art, I am not artistically inclined
It conveys the point peerfectly. I saw it like that as well.
Yep, I just couldn't put it really into artistic vision. lol It does make sense if they're laying on a bed or something.
Atlantic booba.
Spain and Portugal: Sure, just act like we're not even here!
Upper arm tattoo. Looks rad.
The Earth is thicc.
This proves God is into thicc busty women, check mate atheists!
Come to Cuba for the giant nipple.
Slightly off topic, but can anyone ELI5 why parts of the ocean way off the coast can be significantly lighter or darker shades of blue?
I always thought it was to show depth.
It is. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge is clearly visible in OP's picture as a ribbon of lighter blue.
Oh, I thought this was meant to be photorealistic minus clouds.
But, at the depths mostly involved, you would not see it. It's all near-bottomless. It's only meant to convey information evocatively.
Well, it is, in that deeper water usually looks darker than shallow water
mid-atlantic cleavage.
