My only issue was that it seemed like there wasn’t enough coffee being dispensed into the portafilter. It turns out (and yes - I geeked out with the weighing scales) that the finer the grind, the less coffee it dispenses into the portafilter.
This is really odd. I guess the grinder works on a timer?
The machine seems alright, but I'm not sure if having a coffee noob reviewing an espresso machine is a good or a bad thing. On the one hand she doesn't focus on what will get you the best from the machine. On the other, she's approaching it from the perspective of the target demographic...
