From Horace Walpole and Mary Shelley to Clive Barker and Garth Marenghi. From The Haunted Curiosity Shop to Shaun of the Dead. British horror has revolutionised and revitalised the genre. This is the community to celebrate this. Local horror for local people, no-tails also welcome.

The British studio behind numerous beloved ’70s omnibus chillers has more tales of screen terror on the way.

Amicus Productions (TALES FROM THE CRYPT, THE HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD, ASYLUM) gave RUE MORGUE the exclusive first look below at “The One-Way Ward,” a segment from its new anthology IN THE GRIP OF TERROR. It’s the company’s first multipart fright flick since 1974’s FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE, and “One-Way Ward” is inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s classic short story “Cool Air.” According to the studio, “ ‘The One-Way Ward’ relocates Lovecraft’s atmospheric tale to an ominous hospital that harbors a deadly secret.”
