A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Sirens and phone alarm clocks as well. The latter gives me PTSD when it’s a weekend and I hear it.
Or video games using noises that sound exactly like the fire alarm in my building.
There's a 1s clip from a song that sounds exactly like my mother telling my name, with the exact acoustic quality of it being beyond headphones, coming from upstairs.
As a kid when I was in that basement, it was a mystery. As soon as I moved out, I figured it out.
The music in the show Slow Horses sounds like my fridge door is open. Drove us crazy!
